The class is designed for a group of five people and lasts three hours.
The workshop will be held in English.
Goldsmithing is a fun, creative activity that lets you reshape and form metal.
The class will start with a brief introduction, including safety and some of the skills you will learn.
You will learn the basics of goldsmithing, hammering and soldering as we make simple 925 silver rings together.
Leave wearing a ring you made yourself — no experience needed.
Duration: 3 hours

Entry level: no knowledge of goldsmithing is necessary; everyone is welcome!

Terms & conditions
This workshop takes place in a shared studio used by other creative businesses. By booking a place, you agree to sign a short participant contract before the class begins, confirming that you accept the workshop terms and health & safety requirements — including liability for any damage you cause to the studio or other studio users, and for any injury to yourself or others during the course.
You must be 18 or over to attend.
If you have a disability or additional needs, please let Frances Alexandra know before the course so the session can be adapted to work well for you.
The workshop may run over, so please avoid booking anything time-sensitive directly afterwards.
Frances Alexandra may take photographs during the course for marketing, website and social media use. If you'd rather not be photographed, let me know before the course starts.
How long does the workshop take?
The workshop runs for 3 hours. Creativity likes a bit of breathing room, so try not to book anything straight after — that way you've got time to properly finish your piece without rushing.
Do I need to bring anything?
No experience or special equipment needed — I'll provide everything you need. Just one tip: skip your favourite clothes for the day, as some of the materials we work with can leave marks. Jeans and a T-shirt are perfect!
Will there be food and drinks?

Tea, coffee, water and something sweet — all included. Feel free to bring your own snacks or drinks too, if you'd like!
Is the material included in the price?
Yes — the 950 SEK fee covers the workshop, including silver, so there are no additional costs.
Can I cancel?
Cancellations & refunds
Life happens, and I get that — but I do need to keep this policy consistent, so it applies to everyone, no exceptions:
- 7 days or more before the workshop: full refund
- 3–6 days before the workshop: 50% refund
- 2 days or less before the workshop: no refund, sorry!
If I have to cancel
Occasionally things come up on my end too — illness being the most likely one, given the hands-on nature of the work. If I need to cancel or reschedule a class, you'll always get a full refund or a place on a future date, whichever you'd prefer. This is separate from the cancellation tiers above, which only apply when you're the one cancelling.
